“The Turkey Trot, Grizzly Bear and Other Naughty Diversions”

“Starting as if in the good old-fashioned Two-Step, the dancers suddenly let go hands, the man slipping behind his fair companion, there is a little step and a hop, something like a turkey might be expected to do, then a fresh grip around the waist of the young lady, the man snuggles up ever so closely behind her and they hop, skip and jump and half run along.”

I had never seen this. Yoko at her best: silent

Well, everybody's talking and no one says a word
Everybody's making love and no one really cares
There's Nazis in the bathroom, just below the stairs
Always something happening and nothing going on
There's always something cooking and nothing in the pot
They're starving back in China so finish what you got

Inhibition, well, you can fly
Out the window to the clear blue sky
It will mess your suit, it will make you cry
It doesn't matter, give me Mumdane pie

David Gilmour posted about losing a friend who played saxophone on a few of Pink Floyd’s songs, including this one:

It has to be used sparingly imo for obvious reasons. But it’s definitely still a great song.

In 2008 this was a hit with inmates. It may have been the only time a tank got quiet. Then there was the opposite effect with songs like Bedrock by Young Money, and a Spanish beach dance party on telemundo or Univision every Saturday…
