Need recommendations - Britpop
So I've been listening nonstop to What's The Story, Morning Glory? by Oasis, and since I'm relatively new to the genre, I was wondering if some of the brits here could give me some good advice on bands and albums to start with for the rest of the genre. The conservatory here, for some odd reason, has a sizable collection of Oasis, Blur and Manic Street Preachers CDs.
Where to start?

Yes to the first of these but the second is meh! I'd recommend you get The Holy Bible, or the new album, Journal for Plague Lovers.AshtonBlack wrote:If they have the Manics, then

Yes, someone on another site did recommend the Stone Roses as well. I got the albums, just haven't gotten around to listening to them yet.

I'm pondering sending a servant out to purchase this new "Manic Street Preachers" wax cylinder. Is it of merit? Would the grandees of the Rationalia club recommend it?
