What's on your Ipod?

Post by Rum » Sat Aug 29, 2009 8:10 pm

..or other small portable music storage gizmo..

I have 2560 tracks on mine, mostly CD/albums copied straight on, but also some individual tracks. I set it to play tracks in alphabetical order somewhere in the middle of the 'A's. I hadn't heard half the tracks! But I was struck by how eclectic (read 'butterfly mind') they were. The first four (on a walk with the pooches) were;

Anyone can play guitar - Radiohead
Anything goes - Frank Sinatra
Aquarius - Boards of Canada
Arc En Ciel - Wakoo (??)

Tell us about yours.

I refuse to get anything 'i' for music. But my MP3 player has about 10,000 songs on it. My external hard drive has tons more... I wish I could copy a list from it but if I could it'd just bore you. :hehe:

Uhh... a lot.

But I recently added Iron Maiden.

I download long spoken audio podcasts and cut out the segments and stories that I liked, rename them, and fill in the 'grouping' tag in order to classify them based on my own personal system of audio taxonomy and re-listen to them on shuffle during my commute. I also have Rush on there.
Nobody expects me...

I don't even listen to CDs or anything. The only time I get to listen to music is in my car. Then, I just turn on the radio.
