Best Rock Voices?

Post by JacksSmirkingRevenge » Tue Mar 10, 2009 8:07 pm

So who has the best "rock voice" in your opinion?
I have to say the slightly shrill, jangling voice of a younger Geddy Lee of Rush gets my vote.
Him, and early robert Plant. :hum:

Ozzy when he was in Sabbath.

Also Jaz Coleman from Killing Joke.

Ozzy!!!! Now there's a blast from the past. Lock up your bats ...

But I would go with Robert Plant:

I have always liked Roger Daltry.

Well, before I was born Roger. Not now, now he can barely breath let alone talk let alone sing  Sounds more like Elvis Costello.

Seconded. I saw him with The Who a few times in the mid-70's. Some of the best gigs I ever saw.

If you can get past the fact that in this clip he acts like a Butlins redcoat and he has a silly surname, there's a lot to be said for Graham Bonnet.

Also, if someone could lend Ace a white blazer, we could start a tribute band.
