Hegseth and Trump have burned through a lot of munitions in the idiotic war on Iran, but the US can apparently afford to give nearly $3 billion worth of bombs and assorted other weapons to Israel so they can continue rubbing out Palestinians.

Though described as a sale, the transaction is financed through a mechanism known as Foreign Military Financing, in which the United States provides the money that Israel uses to buy the weapons.

Middle East is the ingrowing toenail of the world. You can make it worse but no matter how you try it ain't every gonna get better. And watch what happens to any who try. If it wasn't for the oil it'd be long forgotten like the Congo and you lot wouldn't even be discussing it. It's been ongoing since the Bronze Age and probably before. No cure for that sor of perpetual mess. Amunitions - keep throwing them in, they'll take them all and still come out fighting...cos that's what they do. And they've no intention of stopping.
