I believe in law and order which is the basis of a functioning society and that may well include laws I don't agree with. I don't think pot should be illegal but no one should go around screaming about their 'rights' if they smoke it in front of a policeman and get arrested.

For laws to be possible there must be authority where a superior body has authority over the inferior. None of this crap about the people being the authority, a policeman/court can order me to do something as they have authority over me I can't order them to do so

Yeah, well it's broken for Jonno. Or he's lying. His views couldn't honestly be considered libertarian. Most modern politicians are in the upper right quadrant somewhere. Jonno is more authoritarian than most modern politicians.

It no more follows that the majority of Irish nationals are necessarily Christians than that the majority of them actually aspire to a United Ireland. Most people in the Republic are at best wary of the North and have no proprietorial interest in it.
