Yeah it is a series, though as I hardly watch any TV I haven't seen it. The kids are semi-spontaneous I believe. There is a large element of improvisation.
If you type 'BBC Outnumbered' into UTube (you need the 'BBC' in there or you get all sorts of crap), you will find lots of clips - many of them at least as good.
