Veggie Tales is an animated series which follows the adventures of a load of anthropomorphic Vegetables. The 'Veggie people' spread the gospel by acting-out Biblical stories of a mainly Old Testament theme. Each episode incorporates both a modernistic and pop-culture spin to the storyline, which allows rather gormless children to relate to the stories' context.
The soldiers defending the walls of Jericho are replaced with Peas with faces and so on and so fourth. In the episode I watched, the walls of Jericho were toppled by a Carrot Jazz band

It's the single most disturbing production I've ever had the displeasure of watching.
Shiny and vivid programming has the amazing ability to entice me, it has to stop. Why I feel compelled to flick through Christian channels on Sky I don't know, but Peter Poppof's Miracle Water seemed amazing credible after such brief and imaginative indoctrination
