Yes, and naturally so. Americans speak American, but the variants spoken by the inhabitants of the northeast sounds a bit like English.

No I'm not British I just like British things. Since the Percy story was set in England, I tried to make it sound as authentic as possible. Several Brits here helped me with that, though some mistakes still ended up slipping by unfortunately.
