Can you give an example?

Rum, "iconic" doesn't bother me much, as it's not overused here (I don't think). What really gets on my tits is the word "cliche." It's used too much. And people always use it wrong (at least to my ear). They'll say, "That's very cliche." When the fuck did this start? I've only heard the word used like this fairly recently. To me, you either say "that's a cliche" or "that's cliched." Not that's cliche.
