All of these issues have their own arguments completely independently of atheism or religion. I saw no connection at all.

Church-building, or more accurately patriarchy-building, is the biggest risk for all atheist organisations. Atheism Plus didn't succeed in avoiding it, which is a shame, they could have.

You're missing my point. I think the idea of forming an organisation under the umbrella of "atheism", a non-belief, and pretending that they have something in common other than a lack of a belief in a certain assertion, to be idiotic.
