What do you think of the papers in the August Journal of Cosmology on Abiogenesis?

A lot of this is building on earlier work, which I've seen discussed in the SGU podcast. The one I found easiest to read was the seventh: "Chance or Necessity? Bioenergetics and the Probability of Life".

Which is natural since after reading his three books "Oxygen: The Molecule That Made the World", "Power, Sex, Suicide: Mitochondria and the Meaning of Life", and "Life Ascending: The Ten Great Inventions of Evolution", I was looking for more of his work. The best biochemistry for the layperson I've read since Asimov, and the equal of Dawkins, Shubin, and Coyne's books on evolution.
