She tried to recruit oblivion. The cult was seriously nerfed to keep it from getting out of hand. Attempting to recruit scum or a town special was a suicide move. I put the backup recruiter and the lovers in to give them a chance
I was feeling pretty down about being spotted as scum so easily. It did a bit for my ego to find out that gib knew I'd been targeted for recruitment.

Still, next time you guys make noise about how dangerous I must be as scum, I'm going to laugh at you.

Great job M! I felt so bad for you, being the last scum in a sea of town there at the end. You did well!

It was also a great experience playing in a game where there was absolutely no real knowledge of most players thus no meta to operate by.
I hope to play again with you guys soon.
Gonzo, you're getting better but had Denny not cleared you I would have voted you instead of higgs - fortunately they were both good choices.
Anyway, next time you prematurely suggest a mass claim I'm voting you until you're swinging from a tree in the middle of town square!
Did you do that on purpose, higgs?

I really thought Higgs was the 'vig' based on a comment she made to Adam on Day 1 page 5 regarding why Gull was elliminated - she made it sound like she was giving an explaination for her action.
Missed this earlier ... Glad you enjoyed the game, Contra ... I look forward to more with you, Gonzo and Adem.

Time to out my secret:

JDG edited a post, and I was punished. I lost my N4 move.

Because of this, I realised that JDG had to be town, since I was being punished as his teammate.

That's why I stood up for JDG so hard. That's why i railed Higgs so hard. I was not allowed to say why, though.

The endgame was a disaster, but at least we didn't lose. I know I have a rep for funky claims and such, so i guess I'm still paying for that.

Charlou, you really did your best, given my reputation.

GG Aza and thanks for hosting!!!!

referring to the last part of my post...the coment you made to Adem. Were you wording that in a way as to possibly five someone the impression that you might be the 'vig'? I wish I could quote it but the thread for day 1 is locked and I'm not sure how to possibly do it using the mobile app.

So to fos jerome was like howling at the moon given the number of players who know he was town. Fuck. You know, I knew there was something wrong, just couldn't put my finger on it. I felt alone among the players left,

From what zigmen just posted, I gather only he knew Jerome was town, and only because he was given a handicap after Jerome's infraction.

Same thing with the Contra role .. apart from Contra, only I knew about it due to the circumstances of the subbing.

It was a kinda botched game, but not really due to any malintent on anyone's part ... just a series of unfortunate events, so to speak. Pretty sure those closest to the errors will learn from them. I'd like to think I have.

In the end, I find the irony of it all amusing, given the premiss of the game: ratz drama hehe.

Yes, it was a real nailbiter!

I was also shocked to find that Higgs was actually Scum! I saw vanilla and figured I screwed up!

Nobody wins - I LOVE IT!! :roflol:

I deserve absolutely NO credit for staying in this game so long, as I was nursed right the way through by the rest of the scummers. It actually made their job harder, like soldiers carrying aheavy pack on a route march! However, once they were dead (and stopped checking the writeboard to help me, goddammit!) I had to get all indignant and stroppy. :hehe:

I have to say though, I really did not have a clue about many things. Not understanding the mayor rule was genuine. Not understanding the ways a doc role worked - genuine.
I was pming Aza for advice!! Also, from what Char said, ought we not post on the PG/rules thread, even with innocuous nonsense? Sorry if I shouldn't have done that.

Anyway, back to the real world and my neglected children!! What a marathon.

PS What is MVP?

me too, i really didn't realize until just now. I wonder if that would have changed things if we actually realized she was scum?

Still it was a really fun game.

Gonzo, you did a great job as don. Lots of words and explanations.
