What spooks me is MZ popping in and defending Aza.

Where have I defended Aza? You seemed confused as to his gender.
I pointed that out, or we'd all be none the wiser as to what you are confused about.
Actually you seem very confused full stop.

1) I made a mistake and immediately corrected it to a vote on Aza.
2) You showed up, voted me, and pointed out that reason and two others:

a) I didn't know Aza was male. I actually don't most of the genders of the players here.
b) You claimed I could not have seen interplay between Feck/DP/Denny because:

i) You were the one that coined that interplay
ii) Denny only had made one post.

Turns out, Denny has 4 posts. One of which I quoted here is Denny responding to Feck who was asking if DP was lynched yet.

This isn't your normal scumhunting, MZ. It's you getting bothered by a vote on Aza.

Higgs should know this, as well as knowing Athene's classic failure as Scum, which is to lay way too low. This pings really hard.

Can you elaborate on the relevance of this? Aza (not Higgs, as has already been noted) apparently thinks Athene is indy/scum based on a combination of flavor and the unusual posting restriction. How should Athene's classic scum tells tie into this a bit unusual situation?

Because athene's Scum game is to lay low, not call attention to herself. That tells me that the post-restriction is probably real. Now, Oblivion is no Hack GM. She wouldn't roll a Scum character with a post restriction.

So, that leaves the possibility that Athene is Town or Indy. And, if She's Indy, she's probably town-friendy. I guess this after playing many of Oblivion's games, and the fact that Oblivion and I discuss game balance at great length.

When my tired eyes first read the vote chart, i read Higgs as voting Athene, and that seemed way off, knowing Higgs, so i placed my vote.

Then, I went back and read the chart again and noticed I got the wrong voter on athene, so I switched my vote to Aza. Not so much because i expect Aza to know Athene's game, but because this is an Oblivion game. Aza should at least know that.

Zigmen, it bothers me greatly that you had worked up a misguided case against higgs but then when you realised your mistake you didn't skip a beat to instead vote Aza, and now you are backtracking about the reason.

Well, if nothing else, this banter has convinced me that MZ and Zig can't both be scum. If they were, they wouldn't be pointing at each other so much.

Of course, they could both be town grabbing at straws.

Or I could be way off - not enough practice at this game.

Diva seems the same as usual to me, so far. I mean, it's surely a bit early on to tell, isn't it?

But I have a soft spot for diva, anyway - she helped me out a lot in the last game we played, where we were both town. She doesn't seem to be posting any differently this time.
