that might be a plan feck, let me think about it. Right off i'd say it gives town more info than scum but let's not rush it. So we'd have a way of tracking night actions, well the results of night actions anyway but scum would know exactly how many people were fully armed. but they should have a clearer idea of that then town anyway. idk, i kind of like it but i'd like more input from others.

I'm thinking one of the possible things scum may know about the codewords that town don't: They might know the specials' codewords, and be looking out for them.

wow, good thought, okay that plan is off the table, I can see zigmen doing exactly that. I'm also starting to wonder if my plan of not voting is such a wise one, it hasn't been done over here but what happens if there is a no vote penalty?

Ditto on what has been said...also there is a slight chance of recruitment.

I am just trying to cover all of our bases here.

I am not trying to put forth wifom...I was supremely humbled in the last game. But it is in the OP.

Also, while this goes for every game, this game in particular could be ruined by people not participating in it, so get active people. Especially, gonzo, athene, praying, aza, mantis, we need to hear from everyone. And not just checking in posts either.

I don't know...if we vote we have a better chance of hitting scum, especially if we spread the votes out. Is there always a scum role-blocker on this site's Mafia Games?

It'd be in the rules, wouldn't it? If Zigmen was going to do something like that, he'd let ppl know before they started playing, I would think.

Anyway, folks, I'm off to bed. Insomnia starting to wear off. It's Day 1 and we're still getting our head around everything, so I'd suggest UT's idea of taking it slow is a good one. Also, oblivion stated that meta is important, but as yet I'm not sure what she means by that, so I'd be interested to hear what she has to say on this.

This is now part of the peanut gallery op.

One major concern we are facing is that of Specials. They cannot die until the end of the game, so they have little reason to remain secret. We believe that we have found a way around this, though I won't explain how. Specials will be told of specific conditions that may render their power useless. IOW, their secrecy will benefit them. This should also help Scum from being able to fake-claim without fear of repercussions.

So I think we need to not out our codewords, i'm wondering if scum get them they can deactivate our specials abilities.

The problem we don't know exactly what will trigger endgame. We need to scumhunt during the days.

This is a really good point, but we have to take it slow and be very careful of bandwagons. Because we're not going to have so much of our normal info this game.
What matters is that at the end of the game days we only have down votes if we feel sure about them, i.e., we take off pressure votes/tentative votes as appropriate.

Am I missing something?

Diva we have no idea about roles in this game it's very different to normal mafia ,and it's a prototype !

Oh please Fungi, there are so many posts popping in, every time I try to post something my question is either brought up or answered.

Other players seem to be a step ahead of me.

I am frustrated as this is a different game than what I have played before. I have only finished four games (most on rat skep) and I am still playing my fifth.

Some of the players were scum and it makes me a tad paranoid about them. I am trying not to allow it to affect my judgment though. :)
