Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
Okay, there's been some interesting stuff so far. I like irre so far this game, she really seems to be going all out in a town direction. Andrew is new, but honestly seems town. Or he's brazen as hell scum, think about it. If you were new to a board would you be drawing that much attention to yourself as first time scum here? I mean he could play scum that way, but it's not what i'd expect from a new player to the board. He's painting all sorts of targets on himself, and almost certainly is going to draw a view. That's not scum play IMO.
I am starting to have my doubts about mz, the traitor thing looks like town, but i'm not seeing the poke and flip votes i saw during our protracted town game last time.

One week after being rescued from the region, Snake has been redeployed into the Soviet jungle as part of "Operation: Snake Eater", to fulfill the United States' promises. During the mission, he will have the assistance of another American defector, who defected a few years earlier. Your mission is to eliminate 'Naked Snake' and the traitor who is playing both sides of the fence as well as any other threats to the Soviet Union's national security.

Not sure of mz, wouldn't put it past him to jump on gonzos admission of a mistake and run with it if he was the traitor.
Still nothing from zigmen?

He's new here, maybe, but where do they play mafia where everybody roleclaims on Day 1?
Cough up a site link, Andrew, so we can see for ourselves.

Was I really being that unclear in my meaning? I'll go back and re-read my posts in a sec. For now I'll say again that I know this game has a traitor, but I'm cautious about assigning that role, for the purpose of this game, to a quickly glanced character name on the mistakenly posted post. Because there are a number of characters who are "traitors" in the flavour, but any one of them could be the role traitor here.Athene wrote:This info.amok wrote:We have what info in the OP? Re: MGS3: Snake Eater Mafia - Tactical Espionage Action DAY
No. Scum wouldn't want to do that. Town wouldn't want somebody wasting their investigative power. There's really no reason to draw a view (which I refer to as a cop investigation, so if I use that term instead you'll know what I mean.) Again though, what does FoS mean?Feck wrote:Andrew could be trying to draw a view ?

Why wouldn't scum want to do that I can think of several possible reasons .

The Scum Don shows as innocent in most games.andrewclunn wrote:Feck wrote:Why wouldn't scum want to do that I can think of several possible reasons .
Scum would want to be investigated and uncovered? I'm not seeing a scenario where that makes a whole lot of sense.

Aza and B.Tern, why are you holding the new guy's feet to the fire on day 1?
Also, MZ: You may have explained this fully itt, but I don't understand. How do you know there is a traitor, and how come only you know their character's name?
