Re: Simpsons Day 5 Results
About your SK:
Irre was a powerful SK (as was town and scum teams).
She could kill at night, was the day4 daykiller, and had enough infor to clear a couple of townsfolk. I envisioned an indy with enough power to actually win, and was very close to giving them enough power to do so.
The info she held was a double edge sword, as well as a boon to town. It was as if she was a three-day Seer with town views under her belt. This could either clear her, make her suspicious, or even a scum target.
Town was also very overpowered. So was Scum.
My hope was to make thre powerful teams and let the battle of the wits begin.
There are some questions about Callan getting godkilled. I'm simply going to say that a couple players were unintentionally involved in an off-thread diclosure of roles. I won't name names. All parties have approached me and the godkill was the only fair way to reslove the issue. There were other considerations made behind the scenes to balance this godkill as best I could.
There was no intentially cheating on anyone's part.
This godkill was quite a blow to the scum team.
If any of the scum team think my GMing to be overly harsh or unfair at this point, I invite them to ask for further discussion of this topic. If you think my godkill was fair, I'm happy enough to let sleeping dogs lie.
I thank you all for playing!!!!
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have~

good game, scum!
Re: Simpsons Day 5 Results
I was totally wrong about Mort, but I wasn't too far off on some of the other stuff.
Re: Simpsons Day 5 Results
and I would like some feedback about improving my town game. I seem to give off scum pheromones with no intent at all. It's sometimes hard for me to see how I could possibly play more protown unless I were a psychic mindreader or something.

Delighted I am. After the vulture like attack you did on me in my absense

Great game! Thanks everyone.
Re: Simpsons Day 5 Results
lol good game there, all around
Re: Simpsons Day 5 Results
We may benefit from a discussion of Town strategy.
As the GM, I saw many missed opportunities for Town, such as the Seer viewing the mayor on night 1. This really should not be optional, imho. If the Seer does not out, but gets killed later, I like to rely on the fact that the mayor is cleared.

Don't beat yourself up. My role threw town for six.oblivion wrote:and I would like some feedback about improving my town game. I seem to give off scum pheromones with no intent at all. I had a blast playing that game. I had to avoid being lynched (and boy I got close to dying on day 1) and avoid scum killing me. I think Feck and UT are the most evil of the evil... I mean, leave a poor serial killer to kill quietly.

Oh oblivion, you were right on the ball about me, plus you gleaned very quickly that there wasn't a vig. I got told there wasn't a vig but wasn't allowed to hint at it in the thread.
