I agree. Atm I get town vibes from MZ, while zigmen is a bit scummy (I find it somewhat hard to believe that zigmen sincerely believes his own vote rationale for higgs/aza). At any case, I doubt they're both scum.Bolero wrote:Well, if nothing else, this banter has convinced me that MZ and Zig can't both be scum. If they were, they wouldn't be pointing at each other so much.
Of course, they could both be town grabbing at straws.

Re: ElfQuest Mafia - Day 1
Re drive by -
I like Irre - she is often lynched early (and in my experience wrongly) in the game and I thought it would be nice to have her as mayor for a change.
MZ, you have been a convincing town player in all the mafia games I've played and seem to flip scum a lot.
I don't play at TR, which somebody asked earlier.
I'm very busy the next few days so will not be posting prolifically. Drive-bys will probably be the norm until next week (should I make it that far).

To ignore the absence of evidence is the base of true faith.

I kind of agree, but OTOH this is Inspector Dean...Linus wrote:I agree. I find the votes on Gonzo slightly strange. Because UT, when he played here last he was scum - and was all up front.Uselesstwit wrote:hmmmm, that was a real drive by on gonzo's part. That seems totally out of character for him, who's used to his play style, that's not how he played in the game I was in with him.

Re: ElfQuest Mafia - Day 1
Also, Zigmen - you mentioned that Ob probably wouldn't roll a scum who has a posting restriction. I don't think we can assume anything about the posting restriction. That's exactly what we did with Gib in the TR game -- and I was convinced that he wasn't scum all the way through. Which really screwed things up...
Re: ElfQuest Mafia - Day 1
Hi all .. I've just returned from a couple of days away ... and off to work soon, so only have a small window of time to post today .. I've read all the posts so far but have too little time to give them due consideration so will not vote today. I'll look in again after work.

his reasoning for voting Zigmen is strange - "way too quiet"... and that was before nelli or charlou or bolero or others had showed up. And I had only posted one post before work. So why focus on Zig for being quiet?

Re: ElfQuest Mafia - Day 1
The quiet players are serious endgame liabilities. Since such a large fraction of players basically skip day 1, GMs should consider starting the game directly on day 2.
I'll put gonzo in the lead...

^Linus, I believe we still have another 12 hours
Re: ElfQuest Mafia - Day 1
MZ's spreadsheet says 6 hours to nightfall. If it is 12 hours, I will not miss it.Mantisdreamz wrote:^Linus, I believe we still have another 12 hours

Yep, my bad - I misread the OP

No offence, but I would rather hear Gonzo explain him/herself.Mantisdreamz wrote:I find the votes on Gonzo slightly strange. ^that's fine. I'm commenting on the fact that UT said what I thought to be a wrong statement.
