Food is much more important than Art, dear boy.

Now stand still and be basted.
I'd advise you to stop wriggling, or you'll get Ani's Famous Vindaloo Paste in your eyes, and that sucker stings like the fires of hell.

please callan, I'm turning forty in a few weeks, you want to use someone younger in a vindaloo. I need to be stewed or something.

I think you're on to something

1 higgs2 - after a good tenderising, some kind of slow cooking?
2 Feck - furry crackling?
3 Mononoke - loads of marinating required, how to make the most of gamey flesh?
4 Morticia - need dish suited to pallid flesh... hearty red whine sauce?
5 Gallstones - needs something offset the bile :hehe: ?
6 UT - pinch one's nostrils and pretend it's Bombay Duck?
7 DontPanic - psychotropic flesh?
8 Charlou - breast cutlets?
9 Zigmen - something with broccoli spears?
10 Mantisdreamz - best way to serve reptile?
11 gib - best way to prepare primate?
12 Oblivion - some kind of flambé?
13 DennyB - hotdog dish perhaps?
14 MZ - traditional preparation, with crème anglaise?
15 Squid - vodka batter and some sauce wot sounds French?
16 Ani - stew with taters?

The spices and the vinegar will make you tender - that's the whole point!
And you WILL be stewed, oh yes. With ginger and garlic and tomatoes.

Jeez, I hate it when the ingredients start answering back.

A heavier lid on the pot, perhaps?

Mono, hmmm. Gamey flesh, you say?

Same marinade as for venison, methinks: oil, red wine, thyme and some crushed juniper berries. And plenty of garlic.
We'll have to leave him overnight, so let's hope the scum take him out - then we can casserole him next day.

But I'm not relishing the thought of serving MZ with custard. I had fajitas in mind for him...

see I think you're missing a vital component here. I've spent the last 20 years eating spicy mexican food, it just seems to waste all that prep work and switch to indian now.

Nomnom yes overnight marinating. What will we eat in the interim?

You don't think fajitas are a little racy?

Oh very well.
UT can be the fajitas, and MZ can be the curry.
Cultural balance is achieved.

Depends whose head is first on the block.
For Day One, we may need to take our chances with Feck's Patent Chilli Sauce...

Do you feel lucky?
