That's true, but the fact that her condition was to be last man standing, that bonus sort of balances it all out.DennyB wrote: The addition of a town viewed SK sure made it difficult though.

Great, thanks oblivion. Here I was thinking I'd done really well. Now I feel stoopid.
Can I just say that the cheerleading thing is really different here to the game I play at RS - everyone cheerleads over there, and I assumed that's what people did here, until I was FoSed for it - that's no lie.
Still, live and learn, eh?

That's the beauty of being a new player. You can drop tells and people think it's just because you're inexperienced and don't know any better. And I realize that the play style at RS is different from here. Every group of players who play regularly together will develop a mafia culture, and the tells will be somewhat (but not completely) specific to that milieu.Bolero wrote:Great, thanks oblivion. And it's true, you didn't know better, though you started to learn in this game. You tightened up a little bit on the cheerleading and the other players loosened up on their reactions to it. All of that made sense.
I don't think it's intentional, but new players do tend to get a cool introduction to mafia if they aren't town. They'll never again be cut the same level of slack, but sometimes they come out on top!

I think you can be pleased, "last man standing" is a difficult win condition, IMO, and you picked good night kills.Bolero wrote:Great, thanks oblivion. Here I was thinking I'd done really well. Now I feel stoopid.

Thanks for the game Oblivion and Gib, and great game Bolero, first SK win here unless I'm mistaken.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
