For me, it's because he was quick to put down votes in a game where most of us are still trying to figure things out, and because he's not looking like earnest town MZ.

there were some specific pings when I read through the thread earlier. I'll dig them up. It's curious that he's come under so little scrutiny today.

I'd rather keep scum guessing, in fact if there is a seer i'd say don't out for a couple days no matter what, since it doesn't look like there is a way to go below zero we should be able to pile the votes on the entire scum team in two days max. That's actually what I was asking about earlier, if town doesn't vote it should push back the end of the game and give our specials the time they need to work. It is totally in scums favor to make this game short and confusing.
OK, I see the sense in this.

The only problem, though, is how town specials convey the results of their work. I mean, what use is a seer if they can't tell us what they've seen?
You don't have to share all the information you've gained as Seer. For example there is no good reason to out that you're a special just because you've viewed another person as vanilla town. The cost of outing isn't worth sticking your neck out for a vanilla, so essentially outing is only necessary if and when you view scum.
seers get alignment/not role. there's another sort of investigative special that learns what night actions a person has, but it's a rare role IME. You usually only see it in very large games.

BUT the problem is if you are the seer it's not like normal Mafia where on your death it's known you are the seer and town then can re read the thread and pay particular attention to all your votes after night one .

So 15 points accumulating every day. And the game finishes when the resulting carnage leaves one team a winner. ie, scum has parity or town has eliminated all scum.
Seems reasonable.

So it's not about a player having the most votes, but spreading the votes around. And keeping track of who should be upto 5. Scum must have some ability to knock off votes to baffle us, so whoever we think is scum will need to be over killed. Maybe 7 or 8 votes should do the trick.

As for duration? Three scum? 10 town.
I'll assume no indie. That would be too complicated.
5 days to get the required armed vests?
So even the odd vote accumulated will count.

Hmm... fascinating.
this post pinged. spreading the votes around puts more players at risk of being pushed over the top by scum night actions. We should be trying to find scum, not trying to spread the votes around each night.

right.

knowing what I know right now, if I were seer, I'd collect my views for a few days and then out them all, whether they are scum or town views. I"m assuming that once outed the seer's night abiity is diminished or gone based on the PG OP, so the goal would be to get as many views in as possible without leaving it too late for town to capitalize on the info once it's out.

Yea, and how did he know it would be 5 days? or was that just a guess? Because, as far as I know, Zigmen said it would be after a 'substantial time'

I know that the abilities stop working once the special reaches seven points.

Only if the special has less than seven points. It is in the PM.

Can it be possible for the specials to be on a different point system?

Maybe I misread.

Diva does not have much proper experience Fuzzy does (but plays a bit off the wall when town or scum )
Fuzzy enjoys playing and has a fun flavor of his own, town or scum. See the last few TR games. But yeh he's a smart guy.

Fuzzy i feel bad talking about you, i do hope this isn't a sign.
A sign of what?

gib, you can talk about me all day and night. :swoon:
Fuzzy i have faith that you're town bud.

charlou, did you make a special claim that I missed? Or are you pretty much claiming to be a special now by saying you know when the abilities stop working?

gib, thanks chum
