Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Does anyone know if a Town Bomb can kill a Seer?
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.
Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
That would entirely defreat the purpose of having Town Bombs. That a weird statement, Athene, and one I don't think a townie would make. Can you see how this could appear to be WIFOM set out by scum? Do you agree scum knowing would defeat the purpose of a Bomb?Athene wrote:I'm wondering if scum knew in advance about some town members being bombs.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Perhaps in a regular game but we're playing one called Russian Roulette and so far there have been two town bombs. I'm not going to assume that a normal vanilla mafia setup applies.Gonzo wrote:That would entirely defreat the purpose of having Town Bombs. Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
How would it make since in the game mechanics for the scum to know who are bombs, though? Scum want to avoid Bombs, so obviously they will not be clued in on who they are. Rather, like specials, they will hunt for they and recalibrate their choice of actions accordingly. You seem to be special-hunting as long as you maintain the opinion scum would know who the Bombs are. Now do you see why I would think that, or would you argue my point?

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Also, mantis unvoted diva because of this post.
I read this and thought it was just diva dicking around but mantis read something in it that convinced her she needed to take her vote off diva straight away.I never said that Irre voted for me because she had a grudge against me.
I made a joke at the beginning and I have stated this several times. I trust Gonzo more than you right now.
Mantis get your vote off of me right now.
Adenosine, you go ahead and vote for me. I don't know you.
Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Which seems perfectly reasonable, given the game set-up, in my opinion. You are mislead or you are scum, Athene.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Say, if Diva knew she was a Bomb - and the scum ALSO knew she was a Bomb - who would it benefit and why?
It's a trick question, also rhetorical, so don't bother. See? Scum can't know who the Bombs are.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Not going to concede to the point, Athene? Okay. Think it over some and get back to me. vote Athene for now.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Not who the bombs are, just that there are bombs. I got the idea because of something Mantis said which made me think maybe she had knowledge not available to the rest of us.Gonzo wrote:How would it make since in the game mechanics for the scum to know who are bombs, though? Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Which could mean one of two things. Do you see that? Mantis, I agree, has shown he knows something more than us. That alone is bot incriminating, though, which is why you shouldn't vote for her for that alone. We need to hear more from Matis first.Athene wrote:Not who the bombs are, just that there are bombs. No, Athene.
Do I have to scream it? For fuck's sake!

Re: Russian Roulette Day 2
Wait for Mantis to clear things up for us. I think we should remain at a stalemate for now, and I will explain myself when Mantis explains WHY she knew Diva was hinting. When Matis makes that statement, we can judge better if she is lying or not. Until then, there is more than one reason Mantis could have known a hint was dropped.
