What does "sufficient amount" mean? The game will end when a sufficient amount of you are armed to explode. In Timebomb, nobody dies until the final day. At that time, everyone who is "armed to explode" will do so all at the same time.

I think it means, there will come a time in the game when either town has eliminated all scum or scum are at parity. WRT your comment about an indie, this is from the edited rules thread OP:
There will be NO Indies. It's Town Vs. Scum. There is a very remote circumstance in which recruiting may take place.

Just reread my PM and the relevant part suggests this is the case.charlou wrote:Ah .. could be ...Magicziggy wrote:I think it means, there will come a time in the game when either town has eliminated all scum or scum are at parity. The zigmen pulls the pin.

I think this is a game where a day one massclaim should work. Scum will be gunning for the specials but it doesn't matter because they don't die until the end. Better to have them out in the open.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Re: Timebomb Day 1
hmmm ... I'd considered that idea ... but dismissed it because scum can pile their votes on the specials ... but you're right in that that wouldn't affect the role of the specials through the game, it would only mean that the specials are among those town guaranteed to explode at end game. This would be a difficult decision for specials to make because all specials will need to agree without being able to discuss the idea in some way first for fear of drawing attention to themselves. There's also the possibility of false claims by scum, though those will soon become apparent through the system of voting. hmmm ...Azathoth wrote:I think this is a game where a day one massclaim should work. Re: Timebomb Day 1
Actually, all specials wouldn't have to agree - there's no need for a mass claim as such. It really can be up to the discretion of the individual, and still be useful.

Wait a minute .. it's not specified in the rules what the circumstances are regarding specials and their ability to perform when they've accrued points. It may be that they can no longer perform night actions once their vest becomes armed.

A mass outing is a terrible Idea the GM's said they would find a way to stop that working ,also you have no way of checking if someone makes a fake claim and you have no idea of the rolescharlou wrote:Wait a minute .. it's not specified in the rules what the circumstances are regarding specials and their ability to perform when they've accrued points. Re: Timebomb Day 1
I think MZ means I mayor voted Fuzzy as a friendly way of welcoming fuzzy to the game OR I wanted to encourage Fuzzy to be viewed by the seer so we can gt Fuzzy armed ASAP .
