Star Trek TNG

Jean-Luc! So lovely to see you again. Oh, don't give me that look, you know you're my favorite human - every time I feel like just wiping your miserable insect-like species out of the universe, I think of all the fascinating conversations we've had and I just can't go through with it. That's why I'm giving YOU the chance to play this little game, and demonstrate once and for all that humans aren't totally pathetic and worthless!

I have taken the liberty of reconfiguring your holodeck for this game. You and your crew are locked inside with a few of your worst enemies. Not so bad, you think? Think again. They all look exactly like you. A whole ship's worth -- and MORE! -- of you, my little martinet! We won't need those silly little safety overrides preventing anyone from being killed, will we?

if you humans can simply demonstrate enough intelligence to tell your enemies from your friends, I'll let you go. I'm rooting for you, Jean-Luc - I really am.

I think we are missing a player list. :dunno:
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. [...] I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

Good morning, Picards!

I always struggle with converting these damned timezones.
But the clock on my computer says its 6:50AM GMT right now.
That's 5:20pm here. So that's 24 hours from now. Right got it.

I never watched much TNG, so I'll miss most of the references.

Ok I'm here. Don't bust my chops for checking in late. I only got off work an hour and a half ago and it is after midnight. And, I will be going to bed before long.

TNG was my favorite, the only one I watched.

Uh.. Why would we 'bust your chops' for checking in late when you make your first post within two hours of game start?

Will the hours be 24/12, oblivion?

I'm off to work for a few hours. Will catch up with the game when I get home later.

Ok, down to business.

After a game where he went almost unnoticed, maybe an early vote is required.
Plus I'd love to see a vote from him.
Vote Mononoke
And for mayor

What's up with the mod-notes? Am I supposed to be reading this stuff?

Luckily, it's 4:54am and I am only awake enough to hit the bathroom and blur through the thread.

G'night.
