The harmonica starts them off howling like nothing else does. Try it on the wolves.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:I'm not going to ask.mistermack wrote:Just play the harmonica to the dogs. Works every time. For our anniversary we're going to spend the night at a tiger sanctuary near here. $175/$275 per night, but you get to see a lot more of the tigers than the normal tour. The sanctuary is owned by U. of Missouri. What would REALLY get me quaking would be hearing a lion roar at night.
Especially as I have recurring nightmares about lions.
I don't think Tigers roar, in the same way that Lions do.
They can roar, but it's a lot less, I believe.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

A relatively simple system for habitats on Mars, at least in the earlier stages.

They're being suggested for the Moon, but I see the applicability for Mars.
Re: A Mars Colony in Our Lifetimes?
It looks almost exactly like the colony you had to build in some video game I played about 15 years ago.. there were a lot of throw-away games made in those days so I can't remember. It was like a bad rendition of SimCity. Earth died.. you had like 300 colonists who would die in various ways if you managed/built your colony poorly.
