Rereading the thread ... does this question ping for anyone else? Isn't "peanut gallery" self explanatory and commonly understood?

Also, two people replied to the question, but there was no acknowledgement of those replies from you, Andrew, kinda making the question seem like you were asking for the sake of something to say?

Are you the traitor?

My role doesn't mention traitor. But as I said, in reading the (video) game description, there are all kinds of traitors/defectors in play, on both sides.

Good grief, what a mess.

It doesn't seem like a mess to me ... Unless you mean your quoting there

Re the traitor concern, let's ask MZ ... MZ was it your impression from reading the role PM that it was flavour, or an actual role?

Clearly role. The character fitted perfectly when I read the wiki.

My quote attempt was definitely messed up. I was posting about Occupy Nova Scotia on another board, and must have had the URL stuck in my "Control V." Sorry.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

Yes, Andrew has registered as a person of interest, for sure. Jokey lynch vote, then followy mayor vote, all very careful. The PG question didn't ping, though.

Do you think a jokey lynch vote is 'very careful'?

Yes, I think it could be.

Or, I could be wrong. He's an unknown quantity. I already posted, asking him about his posts. What he's not, though, is a n00b.

People are always suspicious of me because of my abrasive personality ;)

What do you make of the play so far? Anyone standing out to you?
You seem relaxed for your first game here.

You've asked a couple of questions and cracked a couple of quips.
What do you make of my answer about role claiming?
Seems like a foolish practice to me. By not having an accepted standard 'town' behavior for day 1, you can't really judge people's activity except on an individual basis, which just leads to paranoid speculation and wifom. Seems like a very pro-scum culture here.

What is foolish? Not role claiming on day one?

I don't see how these two even correlate, let alone the latter being an example.

Abrasiveness aside (I didn't even notice it), can you clarify what you're getting at here, please.

Just that you all are barking up trees. With no night results and no RCing or PCing going on, there's no way to trip up scum. This is the pre-game show. The real fun starts Night 1 :D

Sure, if you're scum. :what:

Day one posts can furnish information that is important as the game progresses.

Well then why not get some tangible information? How about a pRC of people's genders? That shouldn't reveal too much. Plenty of male and female characters, but it would restrict scum for fake claims later.

If scum have safe claims it's useless.
