It's just a history buff sort of thing. I can think the Greco-Persian wars of the 5th Century BCE were fascinating without thinking how cool it would've been to be involved.

Maybe you can tell us: why AREN'T many women responding? Maybe you ladies just don't appreciate history as much as we do. :hmph:

Probably because until most recent history (and even then, it's still an anomoly) we haven't been allowed to fight in wars...which, is the part that is glorified the most, isn't it?

In Asia we didn't have any women on our side. Elsewhere, the situation varied.
