Industrial output was not exactly an Italian strong point.
Actually, most countries were able to design very good fighters, as long as they had the proper raw materials and good engines.

Accent the second syllable and put some serious sneer into the whole phrase.Svartalf wrote:trying to file for possible later use
And you'll find out quickly if the person knows the phrase, someone will need medical attention quickly.

The trend for not exactly terrifying names continues. The last of the Type 45 destroyers to be launched will be called HMS.........Duncan.

All ships in the class named D-something. Typical RN lack of imagination. That might have been the sensible thing to do when Brittania ruled the waves, and there were hundreds of ships to name.Clinton Huxley wrote:The trend for not exactly terrifying names continues. It's a pity there's not another ship in the class yet to be named. It could have been called "Disorderly".

Returning to strange aeroplanes and even stranger names, I doubt one could beat the Miles Libellula on both counts.
