Yeah, and some are crustier than others. Present company excluded, of course.
But it can't be true that the greatest women were here because Scot said that there used to be some great ones at Ratskep, and as we all know, he's never wrong. Ever, about anything.
I have this same query. I'd love to know who these Great Women were. I struggle to think of many women he didn't piss off big time but there must be some. He said so.
I am given to understand that Maiforpeace was the bee's knees

Ah. Oooh. Ok.

I actually felt, and still do to some degree, quie sorry for Mai. I think she was a pretty needy woman who felt some need to form real bonds on these forums she visited. She did it here and from what I can gather was truly liked and valued. RatSkep, certainly at the time she was around, was much bigger and therefore less personal. There were those of us who had been there since the beginning who knew each other's ways and sense of humour, what buttons to press etc, but there are still posters over there I don't interact with at all and know little or nothing about. A+ was the same as here I reckon, there was the small core group with they SJW stuff in common and she felt she had true bonds with them there. Unfortunately she couldn't help putting her foot in it and was turned on by the hardcore A+ers.
On Ratskep, she mistakenly thought she could immediately form these bonds with people, she almost immediately started PMing people, friendly enough at first but then with messages containing some pretty shitty stuff about other members. She did this with me, although I'm certain the PM's quickly became about me and not to me. I'm not sure how many members took her on and joined her in her bitching about others but I wasn't up for it, I'd known some of these people for years by this point.
Like on A+ she just kept putting her foot in it, she was posting the most awful A+esque bollocks and crying "bully" for being called on it. She was trying desperately to ally herself with others who she felt shared her views but she was being so off the wall so much that she was getting called out all the time and no one was coming to her rescue.
She made a huge fiasco of flouncing, talking about the sadness of being forced to leave 'true friends' she had made, despite only actually posting, if I recall correctly, for a total of about 5 weeks. Then after the flounce she got another member to post an 'open letter' full of angst and self righteous indignation about being bullied off the forum, mainly by me.
