Re: Country music
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Re: Country music
I don't like modern country music. Haven't heard any that I liked for years. But going back a bit, there were some good songs.
Me and Bobbie Magee was one of my all-time favourites, along with Mister Bojangles. Jolene was pretty good too.
Going back a bit farther though, I really liked bluegrass music. Had an LP of it, with these guys, among others :

While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.
