I don't think lawyers have another speed.
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Re: All Things Trump: Is it over yet?
Essentially, all that has been decided is that there is currently no evidence of a direct link between the Trump campaign and the official Russian government. Fine.
Except that there is clear evidence that Russian organisations, with non-zero links to their corrupt and autocratic government were trying hard to influence the election in the direction of Trump. So, the US political machine has been corrupted by a foreign power. Fine.
And, large numbers of people involved in the Trump electoral campaign have committed a variety of illegal actions. Fine.
Not that we should get too excited by that. After all, people in charge of running election campaigns in current democratic systems for any party are by definition immoral sleaze balls, or they wouldn't have got the job in the first place...

I don't get why Roosevelt set the ball rolling for it with his 4 terms as he was overall a good president (and he was reelected thrice, the proof is in the pudding)... but when you speak of trump, a two term limit is already too muchForty Two wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2019 1:14 amWe need to get the ball rolling for a repeal of the 22nd Amendment - will take a few years, so we'll need time for Trump's third term in 2024.pErvinalia wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 10:52 pmNo, the "it" in the topic refers to Trump's presidency. Unfortunately it isn't over yet.![]()

Trump out to kill sick people again. Obamacare totally unfair to people who are not sick! Their premiums went up. And young people, totally unfair! Old people get diabetes!

There are legal issues. He did not collect info that would not hold out in court, the vague standard that is set for impeachment as well.

Don't get the outcome you want, conspiracy! Seriously, Mueller's in on it now guys.
I think Trump and Co should run with it as a victory of the American justice system...
...I hate it, because far more deserving people will be given far less of a chance in the actual justice system... so as evil Liberals we should run with it as yet more evidence that to get a fair shake in this country it pays to be a rich white guy...
But no, you're going with conspiracy. Mueller is in on it. There's a crime in that report and we'll dig it out.

Yeah, Rich White Guy pays pretty well. Sweet gig. I applied, but never got the job.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
