If they want to make some "sources and methods" claim or "ongoing investigation" thingy or assert a claim of some legal privilege, then to get my support they would need to make a concrete and clear case for it. I don't trust them with the black magic marker, redacting all sorts of "sensitive" stuff.

I know, it's hard, and US politics is unpleasant to put it mildly, and it's tempting to just say fuck it and tell them all to go to hell, and just tune it all out, but if you want your kids to grow up on a planet that's not on fire, we really only have one choice.

I don't think the intelligence agencies care about getting your support Forty Two. I suspect they're more concerned with complying with the Intelligence Identities Protection Act, and keeping the people providing them with intelligence providing more intelligence.

According to a new biography about Barbara Bush, the former first lady so disliked President Donald Trump that she kept a Trump countdown clock by her bed — and “blamed” him for a heart health episode she survived in the summer of 2016.
