More conspiracy crap
Consider instead Canadians don't like the unqualified paper boy and feel Carney properly qualified to deal with the tariff mess. KISS
Carney was also the advisor to Harper who got run out of town by the third place Trudeau.

His advice aside, he thinks there are better countries to raise a family.
Don't worry, he'll win. I think Canada wants more of the successes that the Liberal/NDP/CPC/Greens have been delivering. As long as no-one looks at Bernier, they'll all look pretty good.

Re: All Things Canada Eh
We've heard the same arguments over here, and in the US too: the economy is doing fine, stocks are up, jobs are up. Ordinary people aren't feeling it though; they're not the beneficiaries. Their wages have been allowed to stagnate while prices have skyrocketed, their jobs are more insecure, their debts are mounting, their housing options are shrinking, their health is suffering, their life expectancy is falling. If the economy is working then it's clearly not working for ordinary people.
One response to this is to look to the people below you on the ladder or behind you in the queue and say that your life is hard because their life is somehow easier. But another response is to look to the top of the ladder and the front of the queue and realise that the people there put up the ladder and erected the barrier, they're the one's who decide who gets over the parapet or inside the gate, and they're the ones telling you that the people below and behind you are your most important, pressing problem - and they do this so that their lives are easy specifically because your life, and the lives of the people below and behind you, and even the lives of most of the people above and in front of you, are hard. Carney has always been one of those people.

Yes, for the Liberals, things have been just great! Of course, they are the opposite of 'liberal' when it comes to authoritarian crackdowns...

Did any of them experience any accountability? Or should we all just pretend they did great, and when they erred, they were only wrong on accident...?Four expert reports were filed to support Mr. Hillier’s case, including the report of Dr. Kevin Bardosh, which extensively reviewed the many ways in which lockdowns harmed Canadians. They showed alarming mental health deterioration during the pandemic among Canadians, including psychological distress, insomnia, depression, fatigue, suicidal ideation, self-harm, anxiety disorders and deteriorating life satisfaction, caused in no small part by prolonged lockdowns. Many peer-reviewed studies show that mental health continued to decline in 2021 compared to 2020. The expert report also provides abundant data about other lockdown harms, including drug overdoses, a rise in obesity, unemployment, and the destruction of small businesses, which were prevented from competing with big-box stores.

COVID-19 epidemiology update: Current situation — Canada.ca
Health Infobase
https://health-infobase.canada.ca › covid-19 › current-si...
The count of total deaths of COVID-19 in Canada reported to ISC was 60,871per 100,000 population as of September 21, 2024.
So Australia had far more restrictive lockdowns, had very few yahoos complaining about it and only 25% of the deaths per capita.....27 Feb 2024 — These states also have the highest age standardised death rates (SDRs) since the pandemic began, at 13.1 and 15.9 deaths per 100,000 population ..
Get over it....gets tired and old and wrong headed.

That's probably city folk. Us country folk, especially of Finnish decent, enjoyed the 6 foot distancing although we were glad to go back to our usual 10 foot distancing after the scare was over.Cunt wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 4:12 pmYes, for the Liberals, things have been just great! I'm willing to bet the recipients of Canada's hilarious federal transfer payments will vote for more of those liberals, to support more of the welfare to Onterrible and PQIf you want to know why tariffs remain in place on Canada, it's because of Carney.
Trump removed tariffs from every country except Canada — and wouldn't you know it — China as well!
Carney put us in the same place as China in the yes of Trump.

Re: All Things Canada Eh
I don't think Carney will improve the lot of ordinary Canadians--the man embodies the 'Treasury Brain' thinking that's led Canada and West generally to where we are today--but that doesn't mean I'm batting for Pierre Perfect either.
