I enjoyed that tho to stuff a 900 page book into a movie is tough.
Different media. Sometimes they hit the mark, occasionally exceed it, mostly fail and shouldn't have bothered.

I wonder how it stacks up against Klimovsky's classic retelling from the 50s?

Dunno - never seen the 50s version.
....

Damn what an opener....I've seen that damn place in person ...was scary even from the ground.
Like the leads too. 🍿

As a former casual white water kayaker that brought some memories and appreciation of the art and effort behind the film. Charlize is a force of nature in it.

It also reaffirmed I never EVER wanted to be a climber.

Gave up on that...went to bed.

Much more better - recall being blown away by Remi's performance. Apparently wearing the teeth was a chore

Good way to drown out the leafblower.

I like these reality docus.... amazing numbers of goods and people moving

I imagine pretty chaotic in bad weather. Watching them in the process of cooking fresh fish and chips.....2 million serves a year made me hungry. :food: Good production values - easy to watch and interesting to me at least.

Watching The Outsider. Stephen King adaptation from 2020. It's a sleeper. Aussie in the lead role. Only watched two episodes so far. Can't wait to see where it goes.

Sent from my penis using wankertalk.

Children of the Blitz review – wonderful, priceless television
The last survivors of the blitz share their stories to mark 85 years since it ended. It is a hugely moving film that is all too relevant today – but what a privilege it is to witness

Tough survivors
Puts my whingeing at aches and pains at 78 in perspective.
I'm amazed at the detailed recall some of those interviewed 80+ years on...some are over 100 and sharp. :td:
There is a couple as well ....very touching as they recall events.
Very well done docu. √

One of my fav movies and Reese is someone I've followed since she was a teen.
Very talented and attractive
She won an Oscar for this and she and Joaquin sang all the songs.
