It's the dirty, bare mattress in the middle of a decrepit flat somewhere in Queens beneath a single harsh lightbulb kind. And they wouldn't want it any other way. Then you hear the almost Beatle-like choruses and you're reminded that there's nothing wrong with filth or base instincts. It's something pure, something wonderful, if you can only open up to it. I think this stuff is brilliant. Give them another go.
Hmmmm. Does sound worth checking out I must admit, though in the mean time reading your post made me suddenly need to hear Foetus again:

I will check them out. To be honest, I think I heard one song in total.

Not sure if you're familiar with Death in June. They always got compared to Joy Division. There's similarities, but Joy Division were a lot more subtle and had more depth I think.

wtf a whole JD thread with no mention of love will tear us apart not a fan really but that song is classic.

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

That is because as a JD fan, I feel that "Love will tear us apart" has been done to death.

For a good reason its epic.

True. But for most of the population, they never did another song. I agree with Leo.

Me too. And watching the movie 'Control' confirmed the ordinariness of them and actually how poor they were musically. They style was in part a way of covering up bad technique!

I really must beg to differ with you most respectfully. I would be insulting to you but then you probably wouldn't see fit to share with me that trick of using your arsehole for conversational purposes which I find most intriguing.
