I've just started watching these vids. I can't believe I've missed them before. It's freaking awesome! To fighting scenes are so well done! The motions. Everything. What an excellent promo for a game. And it's not just a few minutes. A whole freaking story.
2 or 3 more days and the game I'll be mine, then I can start the killing!
EDIT:........and Ezio's father!!!

Once he ruled all his lands with a firm iron hand,
Not a queen by his side never knew the reason why
At the end of the tale I now finally see
That the Tragic King is me
All alone on my throne once held powers so strong
Searched for wisdom of Gods and the will to carry on
In my eyes you can see peaceful rest finally
Behold King of Tragedy
Axenstar - King of Tragedy

Yeah its a good enough game. Took me a week to finish. Its fucking huge. Piss easy though. Gets boring after a while. Are you renting or buying? I don't think its worth the buy. There's nothing to do once you've finished it.

Torrent. What else? I wouldn't be able to buy the game. I don't have that kind of money. And besides, by the time it would make it to the stores here, and I could get my hands on it...Torrent is best.Animavore wrote:Yeah its a good enough game. Took me a week to finish. Its fucking huge. Did you see how royally Ubisoft fucked up? I could hardly believe it. It's just to good to be true.

So, basically, this is what happened:
ACII was planned to be released with DRM, which - I initially thought - makes you log on to Ubi's servers once to register the game, as an anti-pirate measure. (We all know that this is futile, but there you go.)
As it turned out, however, the system requires you to be connected to the servers all the time while playing. It doesn't tolerate more than a few minutes or so of downtime. If you lose connection for too long, you're kicked out of the game. (It's a single-player game, mind you.) When I found this out, I decided not to buy it. I won't support shit of that calibre.
Anyway, what I heard today made my sides split: The servers crashed on Sunday morning and people aren't able to play the game.

Tomorrow the game is due in the US. I guess it won't take longer than two days or so until it is finally cracked. I seriously hope that Ubi won't get their servers up again until then, because that would mean that paying costumers can't play, while pirates aren't even slightly inconvenienced.

Stuff like that really makes me consider just downloading a cracked version for the heck of it.

Well, I see a lot of people b****ing on the net about not liking some games they've bought. Well, don't buy it then. That's what torrents are for.Mazille wrote:MattHunX wrote:Not on PC...the PC version comes out on the 9th this March.Animavore wrote:Eh? Where do you live? I've downloaded a bunch of book in PDF like TGD, God is Not Great, The End of Faith...etc. I will buy them when I'll have the money and a place of my own.
And when I didn't like a game I wasn't that upset, cause I haven't payed for it.
