Fuck Steam ,hate them i bought the game I didn't want to sign up for the forum ,the help forum, the on-line help I just want the fucking game to play ,oh and sorry but don't tell me to change this ,change that, reinstall drivers over and over again and than go whoops you cannot install the game again ..WANKERS .

Unfortunately all me mates use steam. At least I can by a game independant of steam and link the game to it.

You install the game, you activate it online and then that's it.
You can log in to your account and download it on any other computer, you never need a cd-key again and you can play offline without a cd.
Not only that, but the games on steam cost a fraction of the retail price.
A bundle pack of every source game was going for $15 dollars at one point, while just TF2 alone is about $15-$20 at a retail store.

I can't say I've seen it ever more expensive.

It's amusing, but I hardly find it to be true, so the humor is lost on me. The only problem I've ever had with Steam is that some few games have minor compatibility issues. The worst example I currently have is Knights of the Old Republic, which randomly shuts down, but I don't know if that's Steam or just the game in general. Other than that one, I have over 100 games on my Steam account and am very pleased with all of them.

It does like to randomly kick me off my friends list though. I smiled at that part.
