If he's so keen on being somewhere with increasing numbers of Muslims, why stay in England? Why not go to Sandland where the Internet access and facilities (healthcare, education - although significant evidence for any particular success is lacking in this case - transport, leisure, employment ...) are just as good as Manchester?

Actually, Islam is coveting the west, not converting. They want everything that the west has got - but they want it shat upon by dogma and pointless and inane religious restrictions. What they fail to realise is that it is the very absence of such bollocks that has led to the scientific advances and improvements in living conditions that they so crave.

My guess is that a bunch of angry men want everything that the west has got, and want control over how it's distributed to the masses (i.e. at a nice price or not at all). Religious mania and dogma just gives them an excuse to build a power structure through which they can have all the things everyone else is not allowed. And boys being boys, will want to find themselves a place in that structure where they get something for nothing (or at least nothing more than some aggressive posturing). "RESPECT US!"

People want to be part of something bigger that gives them a structure to lean on... some of the easiest to find such groups are religion, and they are easy because most of the rules are given out right away... those poor souls are not mentally sharp enough to recognize that a group's rules should apply to group activities only, not to your everyday life, and mistake blindly following the rules for truly adopting a philosophy (on the other hand philosophers who build on the framework of the religion in which they live are great workers for that culture, but their philosophy is often lousy in large areas because their premises imply the religion... just look at Pascal and Tomas Aquinas, who could have been great thinkers indeed)

yesterday i was watching news on TV and i heard that islam is about to take over in west.

Germany said Islam is now part of the country. it is now almost ready to accepts sharia law.
They were celebrating 20th anniversary of reunification when German leader said: Islam belong here. thats is bestest news of 2010. People are converting by the thousands.
