Re: Boxer Vs. Briefs Mafia Day 1
Okay, thanks oblivion. we already have one vote for morticia. I will add one to it. It could pressure her and make her talk, lynch scum, or lynch town that is dragging town down. I would like to know if any of these people can be expected to stop by before the day ends. From what denny says, we could hear from morticia if she checks in.

I'll join you in adding the pressure:
Vote morticia
Mind you, I don't think I'll be able to unvote again, since I'm now going to sleep (and might not get back here before nightfall).

unvote; vote totals
Is there a reason to pressure one over the other?

No. Put it on both. Silent players are equally helpful for town to keep around.oblivion wrote:unvote; vote totals

None of them have posted reasons for not being here.

Just stating the obvious. if they both happen to be town, then the competing bandwagons won't tell us anything.
Re: Boxer Vs. Briefs Mafia Day 1
Also, Gallstones mentioned in the Tarot game that she's in the US Mountain time zone. It's about 2 PM in that time zone now.

Re: Boxer Vs. Briefs Mafia Day 1
I don't see anything in their very sparse play to weight one over the other. IIRC Morticia is a lot quieter when scum than when town. I don't think I've ever played a game with totals. Anyone have thoughts about how typical a quiet game is for her?Feck wrote:I had a choice of twooblivion wrote:unvote; vote totals

Re: Boxer Vs. Briefs Mafia Day 1
I'm always wary of people just going after the quiet ones on day one. It is a good tactic for scum to get specials out early while appearing pro-town.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I haven't played with her much. Frankly, I am not only scum hunting but meta gaming a little bit here too. The low post games are just not that fun.

Being a quiet poster only helps scum, ghat. best to root them out.

Your assuming a conclusion there. My goal is for the quiet ones to participate. Being too quiet for town to get a read is anti-town.Ghatanothoa wrote:I'm always wary of people just going after the quiet ones on day one.
