what do the people who play with callan over at ratskep think? This is very odd behavior from her, but I'm not sure how much to read into it, since it might be her first nonPM game.

That and/or just easing in to a new forum's dynamic? I thought irre's RatSkepish playfulness at the start of the game may be at least partly due to Callan joining us.

Callan is being more circumspect that usual, I think.

Low key, UT? .. I've been posting quite a bit since I've had time to catch up ... I'm wondering why a few players a lurking without posting.

I think charlou is playing a standard town game so far.

ok, so I am in a quandary. I've been distracted to hell and back so I don't really trust that I'm interpreting what I've seen in this thread correctly. But what I'm seeing leads me to believe that a special is being set up to have to out tomorrow. that's why I don't want to point out exactly what's bothering me. because I could be right or wrong about irre, and I could be right or wrong about the special, and I could be drawing huge arrows for scum by mentioning it at all, but I could also be dead tomorrow and if I don't leave at least something on the table today then that's not helpful to town either.

You could abstain from voting for today, under the circumstances. Better than voting with such uncertainty and it is only day one.

I think i'm in the same position of last game, of not liking either of the bandwagons.

Frankly, This I agree with.
Seems like a good way for town to get lynched.
But the revenge vote.....Is that standard play for Irre..anyone?

Gallstones plays like this as town ... and we learned last game she plays like this as scum too. You didn't notice that last game, oblivion?

I think gallstones mainly reacts to how much pressure she's under, not what role she has.

Irre nice to see you back in a game, but do you have any thoughts on others reactions so far or are you just waiting for mono?

I'm back for now. I think I've done all I can for the moment.

I'm not sure I'm buying irre's ratskep fluffiness explanation.

My thoughts so far

I used to think that Ghat played a less agressive game when he's scum compared to his town game, but recent games have undermined that impression.

Charlou's recent early games have been fairly distant and this game seems to follow that pattern.

Normal doesn't appear to be scum hunting to the degree he does when he's town.

Higgs' day 1 participation has also been pretty low lately so today doesn't look out of the ordinary.

So, a bunch of people are playing the game they seem to play whether they are town or scum. A bunch of other people are no shows or low-shows. And a couple people look to me like they are playing a different game from their usual town game. Irre has a bit of a bandwagon going.

So, I'm going to pressure vote the other anomolous player.
