vote Irre

Could be that she is going after a no show. Could be an easy vote for her. On the other hand, it could make sense as to why she is voting that way.

For now, I'll suspect the worst

Not much night info to work on!

I'm not so sure voting Mono as a no-show is a great idea either. We did that once before and he flipped town. He usually contributes something when he's bad.
Oblivion seems so unusually relaxed (posting fluff, yet!!) that I'm wondering if we are at last seeing her scum game? She said somewhere that we would laugh our socks off when we eventually saw it...

I'm AFK for the next 9 hours or so. Back later to reconsider - well, everything, really.

ok i'm up to speed now

so far the chat has been dominated by talk of game design and until i got to day 2 i was going to say who cares what the baddies are called it makes little difference in the end. Now the lack of nightkill has me wondering. And i think we need to keep in mind the possibilty of recruitment here.

However the lack of nightkill could be more straightforward - if anyone was blocked last night i think we shoyuld here from them

apart from that squid still looks like he's special hunting to me, although that could just be a genyuine desire to understand the mechanics of the game.

the other thing which was pointed out by a couple of people is that this whole chumminess between oblivion and irre and to a certain extent higgs is just plain weird. I'd like to hear from these guys as to why they think that's happennng.

You're not feeling the lurve, gib? Nor mantis, neither. No, I don't know why there's little sledging. Perhaps because my main suspect is mantis and she's too sweet to sledge. Mono...where to start with mono.

I think maybe the WIFOM is throwing everyone. More people are showing different gameplay than I've ever seen before in a game.

Gib, how come you've posted so little? Normally you are much more in the action yourself. Same for higgs but she's said she's not well.

I think I was the one who initially pointed out the lack of bristling, so I'm not exactly downplaying it. I dunno. On my part I wonder how much of it is just exhaustion of the snark batteries after the last game coupled with significantly less role-pressure this time. The game doesn't end (from my perspective) if I am killed.

I don't remember anyone saying you downplayed it, just that it was unusual.

That 's strange I guess some people have taken a leaf out of OB's book of not pulling off kills on might one ???
or there was some well aimed blocking last night .

doesn't help find scum and doesn't tell us much about the indies .......

Mono still Looks like a lynch candidate .

Feck are you going to explain this idea that the seer shouldn't waste time viewing you?

Again and for the last time I will show as town, but then you will all say I could be the Don since I asked to be Mayor . So it's a waste of the seers view .

I don't really expect you all to believe me I don't even expect not to be viewed I'm just telling you the truth .

Howdy kids, no night kill, that is odd.

Nice to see you with us today Gib, be nice to hear a little more from Mono too, the minimal posting is looking suspicious, as always.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I'd say a block or a doc.

feck is acting a bit odd. Not so much scummy as just weird. It's p. pointless to say don't view me it's a waste of time, I would think that would make him more likely for a view. But it does not seem like his "scum" game, not that we prolly have any scum. Maybe he's the hamburgler. Or ronald mcdonald. haha McDonald's humor.

So is the main deal with mono that he's posting less?

Also, I leave for a trip tomorrow. I will have computer access but it will be sporadic. Or zig you might want to find me a sub.

THe squid has looked odd since the beginning. Hyper chatty, stating the obvious. Andcallan is coming off a little followy.

And giv, don't ever make the mistake and think I'm your chum, at least when we're playing mafia. :nono:

Is it unusual for town-Irre to go after a cheap vote in the early game? I haven't really thought about it in those terms. I'll do a little research.
