I don't usually post around this time of day as I am at school (art teacher) but it's during my conference period so I just thought I would say hai! I will look everything over and check back in after 5:30pm CST - U.S.

Why would you throw your vote onto a BW you had no feelings about?

It is a little unusual IME. but so was this game's start time, I think. And DP was around early in the previous game, so it's not exactly unheard of. The thing that pinged to me was making a big deal of it when DP was active early in the last game.

reading page 1 again it was DP that started with the 'unusual' meme, feck just seems to be agreeing.

what did you mean by DP sounding like Feck wrt to mayor?

I believe he meant DP sounded as strange at the start of this game as Feck did at the start of the last one, when he (Feck) voted himself in as mayor.

It IS unusual for DP to be around at the start, but then it's also unusual to have a game begin at midnight GMT - a perfect time for DP and Feck to be checking in. I'm not inclined to see anything sinister in the presence of either one at that time.

Callan, what don't you like about the votes on Irre. I understand the reasoning is a bit odd or nonexistent for 2 of the votes, but that doesn't make them wrong.

I guess what I'm really asking is, what do you think about my reasoning, and what is it that gives you pause in agreeing with me?

:shrug: I don't know whatever meta you guys are using to determine that one person or another is acting susp compared to past games, so I'm defaulting to my normal Day One game: pick a person essentially at random and put vote pressure on them to see what they do.

yeh kinda, but more that as it reminded me of when Feck said he said ghat should be mayor becuase he was a nice guy for GM'ing a lot recently and should therefore be elected mayor, iow both are cases of nominating mayor for retarded non game related reasons.
