day 4 is up
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

I just want to put a flame under people's ass. I thought Redials game done this pretty well. I was urging my team mates to make a decision on a vig kill because I knew I could die any sec. Of course, I killed an innocent, but the point is the game was tense and needed fast action from everyone. No one wanted to waste their roles or dawdle about waiting humming and hawing over what to do. People have to be pro-active, decisive and take risks.

Yes, yes, yes. I hear you, and I'm working on it.
But it's easy to ask for - bloody tricky to effect.
The best I've been able to do so far is have compulsory lynch voting AND a day vig as well as a night vig - that keeps folks lively during the day and no mistake. You won't remember on account of having got yourself lynched on Day One, d'oh!

Compulsory voting doesn't work so well at ratskept, seeing as they are loathe to lynch anyone.
Where were you thinking of running your game, ani?
