Shit. If diva knew she was a bomb her game leaves room for some improvement. Diva: learn not to flail so badly, and assume if someone votes for you then they must be scum. And don't bring up revenge voting from other games, even in jest as you now say it was.
Adenosine: you were a bit too followy for my liking.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
And diva: when I flip town you'll realise your ploy was silly. Believe it or not, town players DO sometimes think other town players are scum. They even sometimes vote them. Sheesh.
Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
Really? Oblivion says that last minute plays are indicative of diva's scum game. That seemed like a more likely lynch like than the case against Zigmen. So I went with it. And then I questioned diva's motives while leaving my vote there. Followy? I think not. You reaching for a patsy? Very possibly.irretating wrote:Shit. Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
diva, sorry for my previous two posts. It's not fair to post at you when you can't respond.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
I was trying to follow oblivion's instruction to vote diva after her last second mayor vote for gonzo. GM beat me to the punch.

And to say I had an off game in the timebomb game when in fact I was doing fine until Diva let slip scum knowledge and it was my trying to cover that up (by agreeing with MZ) that got me caught.divagreen wrote:Okay I am here.
What exactly is setting off your scumdar about Irre, Mantis?
She is setting mine off too.
Who has not posted yet. I know Praying hasn't.
Oblivion if you are town, you are being played by Athene. Athene seems very scummy, she starts the 'what do you and you and you etc think of irre' without expressing any opinion, and voting for someone else, and then when her fishing gets a few bites - thinking of oblivion here although mantis' vote seems odd too - she then declares she knows my town and scum game. She doesn't know enough of my game to make that call IMO, because I play differently at TR due to the culture there. I don't know enough of game to use a meta on her, but she is acting scummy.
The reason I voted gonzo was because he was pinging, due to coming in with a 'does this post belong here' and then a 'yeah, zig, why athene'. Not adding anything to the game, trying to be seen to blend in and scum hunt. His suck-up post about being intimidated by oblivion just doesn't gel for me either, so he is high on my scum list.
As for diva, if you all are still falling for the 'oh woe is me I'm a n00b and a scum magnet' then you are underestimating her. That she has blatantly gone for the revenge FoS and also making out my game to be flakey (she has seen me in precisely two ratz games; ratskept ones don't count as I play differently there due to the clues and most people not knowing how to actually play mafia on there), seems pretty damning to me, but I am offsetting that with the knowledge that she does get pretty defensive. Her reaction to my vote has been a massive overreaction, and that is called flail.
My votes have not been bizarro. But reading up on a number of pages while I've been asleep, has been most instructive.
FOS Irre for these posts as well as her post cardflip reaction which tried to justify her suspicions. Judging from the cardflips she should be the biggest suspect thus far. I think oblivion would agree:irretating wrote:^ Oh, and diva's 'who has not posted yet' is another scum tell, putting out the FoS on me without an actual vote, then a 'hey what's over there I don't want to be seen to be driving the irre bandwagon because I know she's going to flip town'.
As for Zig, I would make a point of the fact he has played a very non-committed game so far and his votes and FOSes have been very concise and abrupt - making votes when there was a good opening to do so. This, I think, contrasts to my first impressions of Zig's town gameplay in Ratz Drama. His posts where muddled with several FOSes, he was openly frustrated with suspicions, and was more active and short-tempered. So at the moment I would also FOS Zig.oblivion wrote:folks who are bugging me
zigmen - still puzzling this out, really. it appears that he's playing to a script much more tightly than normal.
irre - fair bit of fluff in her game so far
diva - same, but iirc she tends toward fluff on day 1
I'm wondering if Feck is going against his recently revealed scum strategy as a game strategem, but my overall impression is town.
And Adenosine's last minute following of oblivion is interesting and took me a bit off guard. I'm trying to think if last minute decision making is characteristic of his gameplay, in general, because it doesn't strike me as scumtell. In part because following oblivion, given her cardflip, last minute looks town at face value, but it's possible he was also trying to save a scum partner. I'm still more inclined to read him as town the time being.

Re: Russian Roulette Day 1
As for my voting being tactical - it was and without stealth. Voting myself as mayor helped to prompt oblivion to vote herself as well which put us both in contendership for mayor. I figured she would win, anyway, and that's all that mattered to me: that one of us won. I will be happy to vote for someone else DAY 2, depending on player activity and my reads of others. Voting Zig for lynch was a clear choice given his play, and one I plan to make once more, if not Irre.
