21st Century Breakdown, anyone?

Post by ebeth » Wed May 20, 2009 9:39 pm

I have to say, i'm reeeeally not a fan of Green Day. Some of their old stuff is good (ex: Dookie) but i had serious issues with most of American Idiot (in that i thought most of it sucked). So it was with apprehension that i listened to their newest album, and the surprise may have impacted my obsession with it, but true story i am in love with it nonetheless. Anyone else agree? Disagree? Take a neutral stance? Discuss

I have not heard it, and I doubt I will. Armstrong is a cocksucker with a faux-british accent, and I've heard more original three-chord music come from the Wiggles.
Is there for honest poverty
That hangs his heid and a' that
The coward slave, we pass him by
We dare be puir for a' that.

hey, that's what i thought at first too, but that's because i had only heard their shit that's played on the radio. if you're looking for cool points, they're total posers but if you're looking for good music, just saying it's not all bad :dono:

I admit I love their side project band, though... The Foxboro Hot Tubs... :what?:
