Returning or non-returning? Large for killing or small for luring? Decorative or functional? Hunting or sporting?

I went round the museum of S. Australia and trust me, a boomerang is not just a boomerang...

Ah yes, I see.
It had better be a garishly-painted and smallish sporting jobbie then - no nasty sharp bits for Feck's jaws.
Consider me on the case...

Do, they're brilliant.

Also - you only needed to keep your signature a month. Though it does make me smile to see it.

I'm just waiting for irre to say something embarrassing to change it. I'm glad you're enjoying it in the meantime.

I have every Pratchett novel in my bookcase, and all read many times, think I might know a little about the flavour.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
