How about we wait until morning so as not to give scum an easy target tonight.Gonzo wrote:God damn it. If there are still three scum left, the only thing I can think of is a mass claim for the town to still win this game. ksen and athene have outed already, that leaves six of us.
I am Hrun the Barbarian aligned with NightWatch and vanilla town. I started the game with The Sword Kring and passed it to oblivion night one. Not sure if it's been used or if someone still has it at this point, but I was given no info about what it does when it's used.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

yeah I wasn't thinking.
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.

It was such a short day, I guess Zigmen is just letting it continue here.BarnettNewman wrote:I can't see a night chat thread.
I'm at a bit of a loss, to be honest. If there's three Scum, and Doc is dead, how can we make the numbers work to win?

Discworld Day 4
We need to get the lynch right for the next 3 days if there are 3 scum, we're down to the wire today.

Every time I think I'm onto something, it falls flat on its face. I've been reading the posts by author, and then picking "suspects" and trying to read them side-by-side, so to speak, but it's taking forever and I'm not satisifed it's going to get me anywhere in time.Don't Panic wrote:We need to get the lynch right for the next 3 days if there are 3 scum, we're down to the wire today.
I might even be going a little backwards. As far as I'm concerned at this stage, the only one completely cleared is Ksen. And myself, of course, but that's only to me.
I'd very much like to hear from Gonzo who he thought the OTHER Scum were, before Schizzle's lynch.

I have to go house-sit with no notice. I'll be back tomorrow.
Sorry for the delay of the game's progression.

Re: Discworld Day 4
I'm going to have wait until tomorrow to copy and paste various posts to back up this idea, and it's not particularly helpful unless we figure some other stuff out too, but here's what I think:
RC and DP might both be Town. One might be Town and one might be Scum. But there's just no way they're both Scum.

Hmmmm... Heads up folks, I'm headed to Germany in 2 hours. I will be back on in about 12. I don't know what all this means where Zigmen and timing is concerned. See you soon.
Re: Discworld Day 4
No, why should it? That's normally how a traitor works. If anything it suggests there might be fewer scum. But as an experienced GM you should know this.amok wrote:Zigmen said:
Is anyone else a little worried that this suggests there are an unusually high number of Scum?MZ was Lt. Blouse and was The Traitor. He won with Scum but counted as town toward parity.

Re: Discworld Day 4
edit^^: For some reason I thought zigmen wrote that and then I was all like . . . wait a minute zigmen is GM'ing this game! Then I was all like :doh!:
So go ahead and ignore that last snarky sentence.
Oh, and do we really want Shizzle in on endgame if the game lasts that long?

Why are you certain there are 3 scum left?

I've had a quick read through amoks posts but nothing is particularly jumping out, I'll have a more careful read in the morning - if others could do the same that would be great.
